Phoenix Ebra rebuilds crops from a single, thoroughly healthy plant — free of the diseases that tend to follow cuttings and grafts down through the generations — then multiplies that health by the thousands.
Every plant carries some baggage: viruses, fungi, and other passengers picked up over generations of cuttings and grafts. We start over. We take one exceptional plant, clear it of everything that shouldn't be there, and grow thousands of identical, healthy copies from it in a controlled lab environment. We call that first clean generation Generation Zero, or G0. Every transplant we sell traces back to a G0 plant — so you know exactly what you're getting.
We select one exceptional plant and clear it of disease down to the cellular level.
That single healthy plant becomes thousands of genetically identical copies in a controlled lab.
Plantlets move from the lab to the greenhouse, adjusting to real-world conditions before they reach you.
We're releasing crops in phases, starting with what North Florida's farms and home gardeners ask for most.
Beefsteak, Roma, and Heirloom varieties.
Valencia and Hamlin oranges, plus rootstocks bred to hold up against citrus greening disease.
Strawberries, Southern Highbush blueberries, and blackberries.
Mint and ginseng.
Watermelon, cucumbers, carrots, and pumpkins — all bred to grow without seeds.
Fast-growing bamboo for windbreaks, shade, and agroforestry.
Humanitarianism at industrial scale.
We think of healthy plant stock the way you'd think of clean water or a stable power grid: infrastructure. Get it right, and everything built on top of it — a backyard tomato patch, a commercial grove, a family farm — gets stronger. That's the scale we're working at: not one farm, but the foundation underneath a lot of them.
We'll post real updates as the tomatoes — and everything after them — move through each stage, not just when they're finally ready to order.
